Arsène Wenger believes his side may have to exceed 90 points in order to win the Premier League title.

Arsenal went clear the top of the table on Saturday after they won 3-1 at Manchester City while Manchester United could only manage a draw at Tottenham. It took Wenger's men to 60 points with 13 games left in the campaign. The manager is targeting the equivalent of another 10 wins in order to lift the trophy in May.

"We have 60 now and that is phenomenal," he said. "I don't know how much will be needed but it looks it will be around the 90s."

For the record, Arsenal have reached that landmark once in their history - and that was the Invincibles season of 2003/04. The title victory in 2001/02 required 87 but the first one under Wenger in 1997/98 was secured with just 78 points - a figure Arsenal have equalled or bettered five times since.
