Arsène Wenger says Arsenal have had to adapt their attacking approach due to the absence of any recognised full backs.

With Bacary Sagna, Carl Jenkinson, Andre Santos and Kieran Gibbs out injured, the Gunners have been relying on centre backs to fill in for them.

Thomas Vermaelen, Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou have acquitted themselves well but Wenger admits there has been a knock-on effect.

“We are a bit more cautious going forward because a centre back is not a full back,” he told Arsenal Player.

“Maybe we are a little bit more resilient defensively and a bit stronger in the air but overall it doesn't change a lot and we still try to play out from the back with our passing game. It's changed it a little bit.”
