Arsène Wenger admits a draw in the Manchester derby would be the best outcome for Arsenal and the chasing pack on Sunday.

The Premier League’s top two lock horns at Old Trafford as they battle for bragging rights in the city.

Wenger says a share of the spoils would suit him just fine as his side look to continue their rise up the Premier League table against Stoke at Emirates Stadium.

“They are two good teams but I don't complain about the quality of the players I have,” he said.

“We had a bad start and that means we play catch-up. Of course Manchester United and Manchester City have had strong starts and they are the teams that you focus on to reduce the distance.

“A draw is the right result for us [when they play].”
