Arsène Wenger has never been busier at this stage of the season than he is right now.
The Arsenal manager guided his squad through an unprecedented nine fixtures in January and now faces another gruelling schedule of five games in 14 days.
That run kicks off on Wednesday with the Premier League visit of Stoke, continues with the Carling Cup Final on Sunday and also takes in an FA Cup replay with Leyton Orient and a home clash with Sunderland before concluding with that eagerly-awaited trip to Barcelona on March 8.
“Yes it’s the busiest I’ve been, ever,” Wenger told Arsenal.com.
“We were never as well involved in four competitions at this stage of the season so that is credit to the squad.
“These players are absolutely fantastic and they deserve to be rewarded.”Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source
