Arsène Wenger has every intention of unleashing Theo Walcott during Arsenal's trilogy with Liverpool. The Frenchman just has to decide how and when.

Walcott has made 31 appearances this season, 16 of them as a substitute. The 19-year-old has five goals to his name and his reputation as an 'impact' player was enhanced at the weekend when he came off the bench to run Bolton ragged at the Reebok.

The England international did his damage on the right flank on Saturday but has also made his mark in a central role. Wenger will ponder the best way to use Walcott as a vital week unfolds.

"Theo has made a big impact every time he's come on at the moment," said Wenger.

"I'll use him sometimes with him coming on. Other times I'll start with him. I will see. The first game [against Liverpool] will decide a lot."
