Arsène Wenger was a proud man on Wednesday night after watching his team reach a century of goals for the season - in double-quick time.

Nicklas Bendtner's hat-trick helped Arsenal to a 5-0 win over Leyton Orient in the FA Cup Fifth-Round replay at Emirates Stadium and took them to 103 goals in just 45 games this term.

That's an average of more than two goals per match and Wenger paid tribute to his attack-minded team when he faced the media afterwards.

"We are very proud of that [record] because that means people don't get too bored when they come here and watch games," he said. "They get enjoyment."

For the record, Arsenal have racked up six goals on two occasions this season - against Blackpool and Braga. Leyton Orient and Shakhtar Donetsk have shipped five goals to the Gunners while Bolton, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle (twice) have conceded four in a game.
