Arsène Wenger has NOT made a bid for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
The 20-year-old has endured a difficult campaign at Eastlands and weekend newspaper reports linked him with a move to Emirates Stadium.
Richards has played down the speculation and Wenger was asked about his reported interest in the England international during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The Frenchman's reply was unequivocal. "I like the player but I have not gone for him, no," he said.
