Arsène Wenger has tried to buy Salomon Kalou in the past, but that doesn't mean he will bid for him again.
The Chelsea striker hit the headlines this week when he revealed that he "dreams of playing" for Wenger.
Arsenal's manager admitted late last year that he enquired about Kalou's availability while Emmanuel Adebayor's future was the subject of speculation last summer. But when the topic cropped up at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Wenger would not be drawn on the prospect of another summer move for the Ivory Coast international.
"I don't know what I will do at the end of the season," said Wenger.
"But you are right, we tried to get him last year. But Chelsea refused and I have never spoken to him [Kalou]. I just asked Chelsea if we could talk about him."Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
