Arsène Wenger says Arsenal have only one voice on transfers - and that's him.

But according to the manager, that doesn't mean his Club Chairman cannot air his views too.

Peter Hill-Wood has been in the news this week after telling reporters that Barcelona had assured him they would not seek to buy Cesc Fabregas this summer.

It was unusual to hear the Chairman passing comment on Arsenal transfer business but Wenger does not mind - as long as he has the final decision on the ins and outs at Emirates Stadium.

"We have only one voice on transfers. That's me," insisted the Frenchman.

"Peter Hill-Wood spoke about a conversation they had with Barcelona at an official dinner. It is his right to talk, he is the Chairman of the Club."
