Arsène Wenger is opened-minded about adding to his squad
before the transfer window closes but is nowhere near sealing a
deal at present.
The Arsenal manager signed Eduardo, Bacary Sagna and Lukasz
Fabianksi over the summer while Thierry Henry, Freddie Ljungberg
and Mart Poom left the Club. The transfer window closes at the end
of this month. Wenger is struggling to find anyone who he feels can
add to his squad and is available at reasonable cost.
"I still feel I will do something if it comes up," he
said before the weekend game with Blackburn. "But at the
moment, frankly, I am nowhere.
"I have not found anybody. Either they do not exist, or if you
go into the market and want to buy someone tomorrow, it will be at
a very high price."
