on a rare goalless draw...
"Well, it was not the wish at the start of the game but we were a bit flat today physically and lacked a spark. They were very defensive and made it very difficult and as long as we didn't score a goal of course it was hard. We needed patience and to play at a higher pace. In the last 20 minutes we felt that we could score at any times and the opportunities were there. I think we had two, three good chances. Friedel made two or three good saves and we had the penalty as well - I am convinced [it was] a 100 per cent penalty."

on another FA Cup replay...
"That means today it didn't go for us and Blackburn defended with a lot of heart, sometimes too much. But that's a little bit normal in a cup game. We have another game up there, it's not more difficult away from home. I'm confident we can qualify up there."

on the return of William Gallas...
"Yes, he was not injured. Of course you could see that he has not played for three months and straight away into a game like that was a bit too much, but he was not injured again and that was positive."

on how to reduce fixture congestion...
"There's a lot that could be done but nobody manages to do it. You could stop replays of the FA Cup. I would [agree] but not everybody would. There's no magical solution because if you want to cut the fixtures down you have to sacrifice something, and if you sacrifice something it's something that's part of the English game. We have to adapt, we have a bit squad you know. If everybody's available I think we can cope with it. I don't know if other managers agree with me or not - usually no!"

on Tuesday's clash...
"I will continue to rotate in the games. We play Tuesday in the Champions League and I hope that player will be back and I will have a few more players. Hleb, I hope, Djourou. We try to cope with it."
