Arsène Wenger sang the praises of both his strikers after Tuesday night's incredible victory at Liverpool.
Julio Baptista broke duck in English domestic football in some style with four goals in the 6-3 Carling Cup triumph at Anfield while Jeremie Aliadiere opened the scoring, won a penalty and set up two of his strike partner's quartet.
"I always believed that Baptista could deliver," said Wenger. "I have been impressed by his mental strength and his team attitude and that is why I believed it would come out at some stage.
"He has scored four goals but I also think that Jeremie Aliadiere was outstanding. Both players up front put in a great performance."
Wenger made nine changes to the side which won so impressively at Anfield in the FA Cup with six teenagers included in his Carling Cup line-up. Now the Frenchman faces a selection dilemma ahead of the Semi-Final clash with Tottenham.
"I am highly tempted to pick the youngsters against Tottenham," said Wenger. "They went to Everton and beat them, they came to Anfield and beat them, they won at West Brom. They have earned the right to play."
