Arsène Wenger was understandably worried during the first 20 minutes of Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Barcelona.
But the manager was also in admiration of the football being played by Pep Guardiola's side.
The European champions started the game in style, steaming forward to create ample opportunities to open the scoring.
And though Barcelona didn't break the deadlock until the 46th minute, Wenger couldn't help but appreciate what he was seeing.
However, the manager's over-riding emotion was fear.
"You admire, of course," he said. "And you worry.
"In the first 20 minutes I have never sat on the bench where my team conceded so many chances. You would think it was like a storm.
"It was difficult because I felt hopefully we can survive."
