Arsène Wenger will vote for Sir Alex Ferguson as his Manager of the Year.

The Manchester United boss, who is a nine-time winner of the award, has guided his team to a record-breaking 19th league title as well as taking the Old Trafford side to this month’s Champions League Final at Wembley.

For Wenger, who has himself received the coveted prize on two occasions, Ferguson’s achievements are unrivalled this season.

“I believe [my decision on who to vote for] will be quite easy,” he said.

“It can only be Ferguson for the overall achievement [of Manchester United]. They are in the Champions League Final and they have won the championship.”
