Arsène Wenger believes England have all the right ingredients to flourish at next year's World Cup.

Fabio Capello's side confirmed their place at South Africa 2010 with a 5-1 win over Croatia at Wembley on Wednesday night.

And the Arsenal manager feels the current Three Lions squad is in good shape ahead of next summer's tournament.

"England are among the top favourites," said Wenger. "They have all the ingredients you need to be among the favourites.

"They have the confidence and the time to prepare properly.

"This generation of Gerrard, Lampard, Ferdinand and Rooney are getting to the age when they can deliver and they have a quality manager.

"It's all there to be successful."
