Arsène Wenger has expressed his admiration for Kevin Doyle ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Wolves tonight.
The club record-signing was top scorer for Mick McCarthy’s side last season and although he has failed to find the back of the net in the Premier League this term Wenger appreciates his unselfish nature and undoubted quality.
A long-time admirer of the Republic of Ireland striker, the manager has again praised the 27-year-old and feels his presence in the Wolves attack should not be overlooked.
“He is generous, intelligent, has good skill and technique and likes to bring other players in [to the game],” the Frenchman told Arsenal.com.
“I like the fact that he is not only a striker but a team player as well.”Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source
