Arsène Wenger believes the month of December will be ‘decisive’ in Arsenal’s season.
After going top of the Premier League table on Saturday the Gunners face a pivotal run of games that Wenger feels will go a long way to deciding the destination of the Premier League title.
The current top three all face each other in heavyweight bouts over the busy festive period with Arsenal traveling to Manchester United on Monday before a visit from London rivals Chelsea on December 27.
But the manager knows it’s not just his team facing a significant month, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side meeting both Tottenham and Manchester United before they come to Emirates Stadium after Christmas.
“December will be a very important month for us and for everybody,” said Wenger.
“When you look at the fixtures, it looks like it is a decisive time for everybody at the same moment in this league. The fixtures of Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal are all very big in December.”Copyright 2013 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
