Arsène Wenger is confident that Arsenal will sign Marouane Chamakh soon.
The 26-year-old Bordeaux striker has been heavily linked with a move to Emirates Stadium for some time but the transfer has yet to be rubber-stamped. Speaking to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday, Wenger suggested it was just a matter of time.
"It is not officially done but we are confident on the boy,” he said. “When all is clear we will come out and announce it."
