Arsène Wenger accepts that opinions will be formed about his side based on their performance against Manchester City on Sunday.
Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium in good form, having won their last three games in all competitions and scoring 10 goals while conceding just two.
But Wenger is aware that conclusions will be drawn following the match against the Premier League champions.
“It’s inevitable that opinions will fly around on Sunday night," he told Arsenal Player. "That is normal and accepted, you have to deal with that. So let’s make sure that the opinions are in our favour."
The Premier League is already taking shape, with three of the sides that finished in last season's top four sitting in similar positions. But Wenger insists there is a long way to go in the title race.
“[Only] four games have been played and I believe some of teams are coming back into the race. The Premier League is very difficult now, it’s very unpredictable,” he said.
“Let’s focus on us, our consistency and take care of our attitude. I think what’s been remarkable up until now is our attitude.”
