Chelsea are still in the title race, according to Arsène Wenger.

The defending champions slipped 12 points behind leaders Manchester United on Monday night after a goalless draw with London rivals Fulham. And Carlo Ancelotti's side have just a dozen games to make up the ground.

It seems their only route back into the Premier League race is the double-header with United - Chelsea host the leaders on March 1 and travel to Old Trafford on May 7. Wenger will not rule them out of the race while those fixtures loom large.

"I would say no [they are not out of it], because Chelsea plays Man United twice," said Wenger.

"If they want to challenge for the title, I still believe they have the quality to do it. They are in a position where they need to beat Manchester United twice or at least make one draw and beat them once - minimum.

"They are not completely out. They look to me that they are on their way back, but they cannot drop many more points now."
