Arsène Wenger believes his two centre backs could be the difference between winning and losing against Chelsea tomorrow.

The manager would not reveal who will start the game with Sebastien Squillaci, Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou all in contention, but did confess the biggest personal duel on the pitch will pit Didier Drogba against his chosen defensive pairing.

Drogba has been the scourge of Arsenal in recent years with 13 goals in 13 games against the Gunners and Wenger knows if the Ivorian can be stopped then Chelsea can be stopped.

“If you look at the statistics that is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, key of the game,” said Wenger.

“Drogba against us was always very efficient. Drogba is a big-game player and the other day when they were in trouble at Tottenham who turned up? It was Drogba again.

“That’s why I think when you go against Chelsea he is the guy you need to keep quiet. I think they have a good tandem with Lampard and Drogba. Lampard finds Drogba always when he plays so we have to stop the supply.”
