Arsène Wenger knows a win on Tuesday night would secure Arsenal's place in the last 16 of the Champions League but he is urging caution from his players.

The Frenchman's squad are on a high after Saturday's incredible 5-3 win at Chelsea and Marseille arrive at Emirates Stadium for the second of what Wenger has deemed "two cup finals".

A win at the Stade Velodrome a fortnight ago put Arsenal in control of Group F and they are favourites to do the double over L'OM. But their manager will not tolerate complacency against the in-form French outfit.

"Marseille always make life difficult for teams in England, so let's be cautious, prepare well and be completely focused tomorrow night," said Wenger.

"It will be a very difficult game so that is the best way to deal with Marseille's performance.

"Ten points would guarantee qualification but it would not guarantee first place," he added. "You want to finish as high as possible but the first step is to qualify."
