Arsenal Reserves were joined by a Gunners legend for Tuesday night's trip to West Ham United.

Sol Campbell played on a Reserve League registration as talks continued with the defender with a view to a permanent move back to Arsenal Football Club.

Neil Banfield's second-string last played on December 8 when a youthful but valiant side went down 1-0 after a late penalty at Fulham. The result left the Gunners five points behind Aston Villa in the league but with a game in hand.

That game in hand took place at Upton Park on Tuesday evening as a strong Arsenal side took on West Ham United in the Premier Reserve League South.

The Hammers have a reputation for producing exciting young players and Tuesday night's line-up included Fabio Daprela and Freddie Sears who both featured for the West Ham first team in the recent FA Cup match against Arsenal.

Arsenal TV Online subscribers can now enjoy extended highlights of Tuesday's game plus exclusive post-match interviews with manager Neil Banfield and midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
