Theo Walcott could be back for Arsenal's Champions League trip to Olympiacos on Wednesday.
The England winger picked up a minor hamstring problem this week and will miss the visit of Stoke on Saturday. However Athens remains a possibility.
"Theo should be back in a few days," said Arsène Wenger at Friday's press conference. "He has a chance to go to Olympiacos but he will be short for tomorrow."
Bacary Sagna is available after collecting an ankle injury against Chelsea. That means ‘only' Robin van Persie (ankle), Kieran Gibbs (foot), Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Gael Clichy (back), Abou Diaby (calf) and Johan Djourou (knee) are missing.
Later in his media work, Wenger was asked if he'd play a full strength side against Stoke.
"Well I must tell you something," he replied, "at the moment I have not much choice. We have some positions where we can think about it here and there but offensively we have not much choice. But anyway we always play the team which has the best chance to win the game."
