Theo Walcott says he is ready to fire on all cylinders once again to bring success to Emirates Stadium.

The England forward was happy with his attacking contributions last season - eight assists plus 13 goals in 38 games - and hopes to continue where he left off with the new campaign fast approaching.

"The goals I scored and the assists I got last season will hopefully carry on and help the team out," he told a Members Day Q & A on Thursday.

"But it's not how I play individually, it's all about the team in the end. Even if it's me having an average season and the team wins, that's more important to me.

"I want to be fit throughout the whole season. That's really important too. Hopefully the players trust me a bit more now as well.

"Personally I was happy with what I achieved last season and now I just want to win things for this Club.”
