Theo Walcott will not be thinking about a contract extension until the close season.

The England ace has been in sparkling form since returning from injury in March and has scored in his last two games.

And, with the games coming thick and fast from now until the end of May, contract talk couldn’t be further from the 20-year-old’s mind.

“Obviously I haven’t been thinking about my contract situation because we’ve got so many games - this month especially,” Walcott said at Friday’s pre-FA Cup Semi-Final press conference.

“I’m just going to take every game as it comes and see where we are at the end of the season.

“I just concentrate on the football – I let my agents deal with all of that.”
