Theo Walcott is enjoying his most productive season since joining the Club and he believes this term has seen his game reach a new level.
The 21-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s best performers with 11 goals from 20 starts a reward for his fine form. In addition, the forward has weighed in with numerous assists for team-mates, including his last five which have all been for Robin van Persie.
Despite injury disrupting parts of his season, Walcott is delighted with the progress he has made.
“I’m happy with what I’ve given to the team and think I’ve learned the game more,” he told the Official Matchday Programme.
“I’m putting in balls for people to gamble on which I think they are getting used to, so hopefully that will continue and I can keep on improving.
“I definitely think my goals and assists have stood out, given that I’ve missed 12 or 13 weeks through injuries I couldn’t prevent.”
