Arsenal's fourth goal in the Capital One Cup victory over Reading has been awarded to Theo Walcott.

The England international's stoppage-time shot was cleared from behind the line before Carl Jenkinson netted the rebound.

That goal took the fourth-round tie into extra-time and the Football League and referee Kevin Friend have since confirmed that Walcott was the scorer.

As a result, Walcott finished Arsenal’s 7-5 win at the Madejski Stadium with a hat-trick - his second for the Club.
