Robin van Persie's sensational match-winning volley against Everton has been voted as Arsenal's goal of the season.

The striker met Alex Song's ball over the top with an exquisite finish past Tim Howard and his effort picked up 49 per cent of the votes cast in our fans' poll. 

Mikel Arteta's late winner against Manchester City was second with 12 per cent of the votes. The midfielder won the ball in midfield before planting an unstoppable effort past Joe Hart in the dying moments.

In third place we had a tie between Van Persie's brilliant equaliser in the 5-2 win over Tottenham and Thierry Henry's fairytale return strike against Leeds. Both goals earned 10 per cent of the votes each.
