Thomas Vermaelen does not mind which Arsenal centre-back lines up alongside him against Barcelona.
William Gallas, Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre have partnered the Belgian at Arsenal this season.
Gallas is back in the squad for tomorrow night's Champions League Quarter-Final first leg but he is by no means certain to start. Vermaelen is still in the dark about the identity of his partner but he is not concerned about who lines up next to him at Emirates Stadium.
"For me it does not matter," he said. "I have played with all three centre-backs and for me it doesn't matter, it is the boss' decision.
"William trained today and I think he will be in the squad tomorrow. For me it does not matter who plays."
Campbell and Gallas are favourites to line up alongside Vermaelen and the 24-year-old Belgian rates them both.
"There is a difference," said Vermaelen. "But they are both really experienced and that helps me a lot. They are both really good players and it is good for me to play alongside these two players."
