Robin van Persie admits that Arsenal "switched off" against West Brom last season and he knows they can't afford to do that again.
The Baggies upset the odds at Emirates Stadium in last year's corresponding fixture, racing into a 3-0 lead and even missing a penalty before running out deserved 3-2 winners.
Arsenal have hit form in recent weeks with eight wins in ten matches and Van Persie wants them to maintain their momentum.
"We lost to West Brom here last season and we must admit that we switched off that day," he told the Official Matchday Programme.
"We can not accept that though, so we must not allow it to happen this time. We must learn big-time from that experience.
"There’s not one team in this league that you can underestimate. All of them have earned their stripes to be here, and this is the best league in Europe. So there is no excuse whatsoever to go into this game with any different feeling, especially after what happened last year.
"They were 3-0 up and had missed a penalty - at Emirates that is just not acceptable - so we have to learn from that. So this game is a big one - we have to put something right from last year, and we also have to keep our run going."
