Arsenal's man of the moment will be watching the Club's stars of the future tonight.

Robin van Persie has stolen the show in his last two appearances at Emirates Stadium with braces to see off Sunderland and Stoke City but he'll get a welcome breather this evening as a young Arsenal side host Bolton in the Carling Cup.

The captain watched Arsène Wenger's side beat Shrewsbury Town in the last round and he's expecting another big performance.

"I’m very much looking forward to seeing the guys play," Van Persie told the Official Matchday Programme.

"They had a really nice game against Shrewsbury in the last round and you saw lots of young players, big talents, make a real impact. I’ve trained with most of them, and watched them play, so I can tell you that there is a lot of talent in these players.

"What’s special for me is that they’re not scared – whether they’re playing at Emirates Stadium or the training ground, all they know is to play their football and enjoy it.

"I’m excited to see how they’ll do against what is a very good Bolton side – it’s another step for them and a big test, so we should be in for an interesting evening and I’ve no doubt they’ll perform well."
