Mikael Silvestre is still awaiting his first taste of action in Arsenal red but the Frenchman is edging ever-closer to his first-team debut.
After missing the start of the season with a muscular problem, the 31-year-old was selected in the squads for the games against Hull City and FC Porto last week.
On Thursday, the defender spoke candidly to Arsenal TV Online about life at his new club. He discussed:
- picking up an injury in his first session
- making his debut soon
- settling in at Arsenal
- being a new boy
- the similarities between Wenger and Ferguson
- losing to Hull
- strengthening Arsenal's defence
- height in the centre back position
- his targets this season
