The most dramatic night in Arsenal's history. George Graham's side needed to win by two goals to snatch the title from Liverpool at Anfield and they did it thanks to Smith's header and Thomas' stoppage-time strike.

Arsenal's first Double was secured by Charlie George's extra-time winner at Wembley in May 1971 as Bertie Mee's side came from behind on a sweltering hot day. Eddie Kelly got the equaliser before the Gunners made history.

One of the key moments of the 'Invincibles' title season. Arsenal struggled to get into gear at Anfield but a fortuitous own goal cancelled out Kewell's opener and Pires scored one of the goals of the season to clinch the points.

Two years before Andrey Arshavin's awesome foursome, Julio Baptista did exactly the same in a dramatic Carling Cup tie. Aliadiere and Song were also on target but this was the Beast's night - Liverpool simply could not handle him.

Arsenal's title credentials were put to the test at Anfield and they emerged intact thanks to a late goal from Fabregas. His Spain team-mate Alonso fired Liverpool ahead but the visitors were worth their point after dominating the second half.

Four days after a Champions League tie at the Emirates, the teams were at it again - with identical results. Peter Crouch's fine strike gave Liverpool a deserved lead but Nicklas Bendtner powered home a header to force a draw.

Van Persie gave Arsenal the lead with a brilliant strike but Keane matched him with an equally spectacular finish. The hosts ended the game with 10 men after Adebayor was sent off while Fabregas damaged knee ligaments.

Arshavin took centre stage with four goals in a classic encounter. He poked Arsenal ahead, equalised after Liverpool hit back and then drilled the visitors back in front twice before a stoppage-time goal denied Arsenal victory.

Arshavin was the scourge of Liverpool again with a venomous strike to win the game. The hosts went ahead in the first half but a Glen Johnson own goal levelled matters before Arshavin found a yard of space and then found the net.
