Kieran Gibbs... speaking to Arsenal TV Online

Gibbs - It has been tough on the sidelines

It's seven weeks since Kieran Gibbs was last seen with a ball at his feet. That was the night Arsenal beat Standard Liege in the Champions League.

In the closing stages of that match, the 20-year-old was the victim of a clumsy challenge which left him with a fractured metatarsal.

Kieran was at Emirates Stadium on Monday - wearing a protective shoe - for the Study Support awards, and he reflected on a difficult spell on the sidelines in an exclusive interview with Arsenal TV Online.

Kieran discussed:

  • the latest news on his injury
  • dealing with the mental side of his lay-off
  • the people who keep his spirits up
  • Arsenal's season so far
  • Armand Traore's chance at left-back
  • his reflections on a breakthrough year

Subscribers can watch this exclusive interview now.

Look out for a special feature on Kieran's visit to the Study Support awards on this week's FREE Arsenal Vodcast.
