The Carling Cup is already a special competition for Johan Djourou this season.

The Swiss defender completed his first 90 minutes in more than a year - and added extra time for good measure - when Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-1 at White Hart Lane in the last round.

Since then Djourou has played in three consecutive games to banish any lingering doubts over his fitness and he's hoping for another chance when the Gunners visit Newcastle tonight.

Subscribers can now watch an exclusive interview with Johan on Arsenal TV Online. He discussed:

  • what made the Spurs win so special
  • the extra buzz on those occasions
  • what a derby win means to the fans
  • giving advice to the younger Carling Cup players
  • seeing himself in them
  • the rise of Jack Wilshere
  • his own emergence through the youth ranks
  • a tough tie at Newcastle
  • how the draw has opened up for Arsenal
  • winning that first trophy as a group
