Abou Diaby was as disappointed as anyone after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool. The midfielder came on at half-time as a replacement for the injured Cesc Fabregas and had to play much of the second period alongside nine men after Emmanuel Adebayor was dismissed.
Afterwards he spoke to Arsenal TV Online about the game. Abou discussed:
- the positive side of the result
- the red card
- coming on in such a fast-paced game
- the importance of the Villa game
- the role he could play in the next few games
