Emmanuel Adebayor
Triple injury boost ahead of trip to Chelsea
By Chris Harris
Arsène Wenger will welcome back three key players for Sunday's crucial Premier League clash with Chelsea.
Earlier this week Emmanuel Adebayor, Bacary Sagna (both ankle) and Samir Nasri (knee) were all rated at 50:50 for the trip to Stamford Bridge. All three have been passed fit after coming through a training session at London Colney on Friday.
"We have no injuries from the Kyiv game and Adebayor, Nasri and Sagna will be available, if nothing bad happens in training tomorrow," confirmed Wenger at his pre-match press conference.
"They all came through [training] well today. It's good because we were experience-wise a bit short."
The Frenchman will still be without a number of players for the Chelsea game with Abou Diaby, Theo Walcott, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue, Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo still unavailable.
