TreeHouse, the charity of the season for Arsenal Football Club, won its bid for a grant from The People's Millions on Friday.

Thousands of people across the UK voted, securing TreeHouse with an £80,000 grant for its "Landscape for Learning" project.

The project will transform the land around TreeHouse's National Centre for Autism Education.

The People's Millions is a collaboration between The Big Lottery Fund and ITV.

"We are absolutely delighted about winning our bid for The People's Millions grant," said Claire Knapton-James, Fundraising Manager for TreeHouse. "We are extremely grateful to everyone who voted for us.

"The grant money will not only enrich the education that our own pupils receive at TreeHouse, but also help develop existing partnerships with local school and community groups, creating opportunities for children to learn more about the natural world and to encourage understanding in how we can all help protect our environment for the future."
