Supporters traveling to Tuesday evening’s Capital One Cup clash against Reading at the Madejski Stadium are strongly advised to leave plenty of time for their journey to the ground.

The game kicks off at 7:45pm, and there are 4,500 Arsenal fans making their way to Berkshire for this sold-out fixture. The vast majority of Arsenal supporters are making their way via train or car, so there is likely to be congestion on these methods of transport, as well as on the shuttle bus services from Reading train station.

Shuttle buses from the town centre to the stadium operate along with service F1 (formally 79) and leave from under the old bingo hall at Reading Station. These will be running throughout the day. Other matchday bus services have been brought forward by 15 minutes.

For those travelling by car, follow the alternative parking signs on the A33 for Park and Ride services.

Recommended park and ride services are as follows:

Foster Wheeler, Shinfield Park, 500 spaces, Free to park
This involves a short bus ride to and from the stadium. Fares on return bus shuttle are £4 adult return and £2.50 child return. Free parking.

Directions: from J11, M4, take exit B3270 (signposted Earley) and follow yellow signs to "Match Reading FC Park & Ride". This is the best option for Arsenal supporters.

Greyhound / Speedway Stadium site, 500 spaces
£8 per car, five minutes walk to the stadium. Access off the A33 at the Bennet Road roundabout.

Worton Grange, formerly HP Invent, 1000 spaces
£8 per car, seven minutes walk to the stadium.

Directions: From M4, go toward Reading and turn right at the first roundabout on the A33. There is no right turn into the car park - you must turn left after approaching from Basingstoke Road.

Parking at the Madejski Stadium
Parking at the ground is limited to the options below – and is likely to be taken up very early in the evening.

Family parking area
If you have a child under the age of eight in your car, you will be eligible to park in our special designated area for £8 - spaces are first come, first served.

Disabled parking
On matchday a limited number of spaces are available within the orange car park. These spaces will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis to drivers with a valid blue disabled badge at a cost of £5.
