Kolo Toure suffered a calf injury during Tuesday night's victory at West Bromwich Albion.
The Ivorian enjoyed a productive first half at the Hawthorns, heading home his first goal of the campaign to restore Arsenal's lead after Chris Brunt had equalised Nicklas Bendtner's opener.
Toure then set up the Danish striker for the decisive third goal but was replaced at half-time by Abou Diaby. Arsène Wenger explained why when he spoke to Arsenal.com after the game.
"He has a calf problem that we cannot assess at the moment because his pain is moving a little bit," said the Frenchman.
"We will have to assess that on Wednesday."
Arsenal.com will have a full injury update on Thursday afternoon.
