Arsenal were flying straight to Hong Kong after their 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in Beijing's Bird's Nest stadium.

Manager Arsène Wenger promised to put on an "exciting game" against Kitchee on Sunday night.

Arsenal will field a team of both international stars and young players alike who will form the backbone of the Gunners' line-up in the Premier League and Champions League in the forthcoming campaign.

Speaking as the squad boarded the plane at Beijing airport, Wenger said: "We are looking forward to a good game to finish off the tour. We know Hong Kong is a football city with passionate fans so it will be good to see."
