Ju Young Park will make his Arsenal debut on Tuesday night when Shrewsbury visit Emirates Stadium in the Carling Cup.

The South Korean striker joined the Gunners from French side Monaco in the summer and will make his first appearance in a red shirt against the League Two outfit.

Meanwhile there will be a full debut for youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right wing after a solitary substitute outing against Manchester United. Japanese midfielder Ryo will hope for his first taste of competitive action off the bench.

Boss Arsène Wenger has continued with his policy of handing his fledging youngsters opportunities in the competition with starting spots also reserved for Ignasi Miquel, Francis Coquelin and Emmanuel Frimpong.

There could be debuts for the likes of Daniel Boateng, Oguzhan Ozyakup and Chuks Aneke, all regulars in Neil Banfield’s successful reserve-team set-up.
