Robin van Persie and Thomas Vermaelen have both been passed fit for today's match against Liverpool as Arsène Wenger named an unchanged side to the one that beat Tottenham last week.

The pair were both carrying injuries when they met up with Holland and Belgium respectively in midweek, and were rated as injury doubts for today's game.

However, Wenger has been able to call on their services and they both start, while Tomas Rosicky - also a minor doubt - has been passed fit and takes up his place in midfield.

Arsenal have named a near-identical squad to that for the North London derby last Sunday, the only change being the inclusion of Abou Diaby at the expense Ju Young Park.

ARSENAL IN FULL: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Song, Rosicky, Walcott, Van Persie, Benayoun.

Subs: Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabianski, Jenkinson, Gervinho, Chamakh, Miquel.
