Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says the team must improve quickly following their 2-0 defeat against Swansea City.
A late brace from Miguel Michu made the difference on what was a frustrating afternoon at the Emirates.
Szczesny was angered by the manner of the loss, but insists his team-mates have the quality to turn things around.
“I’m obviously very disappointed, as everybody is in the dressing room,” he told Arsenal Player. “I think it’s about time for us to realise that something has gone wrong and we have to do something about it, because I don’t think the fans deserved to see a performance like they did today.
“If you look at the fixtures we have in December, we should be getting points. But we should have started today, and we didn’t. That’s really disappointing but having said that, we’ve got a few games in front of us that we should be winning and we want to make sure that we do that and climb up the table.
“After a game like that, everyone’s disappointed. The fans are disappointed, the players are disappointed - it’s very easy to give up and say that we’re not good enough. We definitely believe that we’re good enough to do the job. We’re going through a little bit of a rough time but just keep the faith and I’m sure sooner rather than later, we’ll get there.”
