Alex Song wants to leave Arsenal for the Africa Cup of Nations on a high and says he will be keeping a close eye on the Gunners' results while he is away.
The Cameroon international will depart for the tournament after the FA Cup clash with West Ham United on Sunday and could miss the remainder of the Club's January fixtures.

"I go on Monday but I want to finish the job here and leave the team in a strong position," he said.
"That is very important for me. Against Portsmouth we did very well and I have another game on Sunday.
"When I go to the Africa Cup if Nations I will have my eyes on Arsenal to see how they are doing because it is very important for me, for the Club, for everyone to do well. I'm confident that when I go the players will do a very good job."
