Calling all Arsenal supporters.
We would like to hear from anybody who has memories of, or
perhaps was even an acquaintance of, Paul Vaessen.
Perhaps you were there when Paul made his full league debut at
Chelsea a few days after the 1979 FA Cup Final or at White Hart
Lane when he scored his first senior league goal in the Gunners 2-1
win in April 1980?
Just a few weeks later, of course, Paul scored that
unforgettable winner in Turin to put Arsenal through to the
European Cup Winners' Cup Final. Were you part of the Gunners
travelling support that evening?
