Andre Santos says he is delighted to be playing once again after ending his three-month injury lay off.
The Brazilian defender sustained an ankle injury in the Champions League defeat to Olympiacos in December and made his long-awaited return for the reserves on Wednesday night.
The 29-year-old played 60 minutes as Arsenal beat West Brom 3-0 at Underhill - and he loved every second of it.
"I am very happy to be playing again because it has been a long time," Santos told Arsenal.com. "I feel good and I hope to be able to play next week at Everton.
"It has been a difficult time because my ankle was in pain and I didn't feel good, but now it feels good again and I'm very happy to be back.
"I'm really pleased the team have been doing so well. The displays have been strong, the spirit is good and we have 10 games left so we must finish well."Copyright 2015 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
