Bacary Sagna believes a Wembley Champions League Final is an extra incentive for Arsenal to go all the way in Europe this season.

European club football's showpiece will take place at the home of English football next May - 19 years after the historic stadium hosted Barcelona's victory over Sampdoria.

Arsène Wenger's Arsenal were regulars at the ‘old' Wembley but have only played there once since it was rebuilt, losing an FA Cup Semi-Final against Chelsea there in 2009.

Nothing would please Sagna more than a return visit for the biggest club match of them all.

"It's a plus for us, for everyone, that the Final's at Wembley, in London," said the defender.

"As players, we always want to play in front of our fans.

"It's a short way to go to the stadium, but a long way to go to the Final. We have to give everything to reach it and play game by game."
