Bacary Sagna wants Arsenal to show their strength in the Champions League Group Stage.

The Gunners face Olympiacos tonight in their second Group F fixture as they look to stamp their mark on the competition after a creditable 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund.

Sagna believes the point picked up in Germany was a positive one but admits this next match is now key to the team’s chances of topping the group.

“It is because we drew the first one,” the defender told Arsenal.com. “We could have won but we could have lost as well so it was a good point.

“We have to win all our home games if we want to qualify though. We want to impose ourselves as a leader and finish top of the group and show we are ready for it.”

The French international, now in his fifth season with the Club, says the quality in Europe is increasing all the time.

“It's amazing and year by year it improves,” he said. “We can now see some of the smaller teams competing with the bigger ones.

“Football is improving year after year and as a team we just want to improve ourselves.”
